I have been a home inspector for 25 years, and my company has inspected more than 8,500 properties. Actually, I began my professional career as a Thoroughbred Jockey, and started my home inspection business after several years selling real estate and doing home appraisals.

When you hire me to do your inspection, you'll be working with one of the leading home inspectors in the Chicago area. I served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Inspectors and also served on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chapter. I'm State Licensed to teach continuing education, and enjoy teaching home inspection courses locally at Oakton Community College, Inspection Training Associates and the Home Inspector University.

In 2002 I was appointed by the Governor to be on the Illinois Home Inspector Advisory Board. In this capacity I helped write the Illinois Home Inspector Licensing Act and the Illinois Home Inspector Standards of Practice. I also helped write the Illinois law portion of the State Home Inspector License Exam.

After of the inspection, you'll receive a 16-page computer generated Metro Real Estate Inspections report with details about your home. You're also welcome to call anytime before or after the inspection with questions you may have.

In 2010 I became a licensed FHA 203K consultant and I am available to do FHA 203K inspections on residential, multi-family and commercial properties. Bank foreclosures and short sales are my specialty. Radon testing is available upon request.
